Randomly Good Writing is operated by Baldeo and Co, which is the data controller for personal information processed through the service. Paddle.com, as our Merchant of Record, receives the information needed to sell the product, manage subscriptions, process payments, handle tax compliance, and issue invoices.
What we collect
Randomly Good Writing processes account details, your manuscripts, Series Bibles, character cards, chapter summaries, writing directions, and essential usage records. We collect only the information needed to operate the studio, maintain continuity, support your account, and administer word credits. Paddle.com processes payment details; we do not store full card numbers.
Your private writing space
Manuscripts and Series Bibles are protected by Row-Level Security, limiting access to the authenticated owner. Encryption in transit and access controls are used to safeguard your data. No security measure is infallible, and you should keep private keys confidential.
No training on your manuscripts
Your manuscripts are never used to train external AI models. When you request drafting or a rewrite, only the necessary continuity context and selected text are transmitted to the relevant model provider to fulfill that request. We select providers and settings that prohibit training on submitted manuscript content. BYOK users should also review their provider’s data handling terms.
Retention, access, and deletion
Your writing is retained while you maintain your account and until you delete it or request account deletion. You may export your manuscripts and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Records necessary for legal, tax, security, or dispute purposes may be retained for the required period. Restricted backups may remain temporarily until normal rotation completes.
Service providers and preferences
Essential hosting, model-processing, and payment providers receive only the information necessary to deliver their services. We do not sell your manuscripts or personal information. Essential session storage supports sign-in and security. Nonessential tracking, if introduced, will be subject to the consent required in your location.
