Terms of Service
1. The service and your agreement
Randomly Good Writing is a service operated by Baldeo and Co (“we”, “us”). When you use the service, you are contracting with Baldeo and Co. Randomly Good Writing, available at www.randomlygood.com, is a cloud manuscript studio and software-as-a-service platform for creative co-writing and serialized fiction. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement.
2. Your manuscripts and publishing rights
Authors retain 100% copyright and all commercial publishing rights to their manuscripts, Series Bibles, character notes, and creative work. Randomly Good Writing does not claim ownership of your manuscripts. You may edit, export, publish, distribute, and commercially exploit your work on any publishing platform.
You grant us only the limited permission necessary to store, process, and display your content to you and to carry out writing requests you initiate. You are responsible for confirming the originality of your work and obtaining any permissions needed for material you provide. Automated suggestions are not a guarantee of copyright eligibility in every jurisdiction.
3. Accounts and responsible use
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and do not share private access keys. Do not use the service for unlawful material, infringement, harassment, or content involving exploitation of minors. Mature scenes must involve consenting adults. We may restrict accounts that violate these requirements, with notice where reasonably possible.
4. Plans, credits, and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
Architect BYOK is $19 per month with 15,000 included studio words and use of your own OpenRouter key. Serialist is $49 per month with 200,000 words. Showrunner is $99 per month with 500,000 words. The Deadline Top-Up Pack is $15 for 50,000 additional words. Applicable taxes and the final payable total are shown at checkout.
Editorial mode uses 1.0 word credit per generated word. Unfiltered Drama mode uses 1.25 credits per generated word, rounded up to the nearest whole credit. Unused word credits roll over and new allowances are additive. BYOK usage may incur separate charges from your model provider. You can cancel a subscription before renewal; cancellation stops future renewal charges and access continues through the paid period.
5. Availability and limitations
We work to provide a dependable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, publishing income, or particular creative outcomes. Review all suggested prose before publication and keep exported copies of important work. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees you paid for the service during the preceding twelve months. This does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Changes and questions
Material changes to these terms will be communicated before they take effect where required by law. For billing or cancellation questions, use the assistance link on your Paddle receipt. Product and data requests may be submitted through your account. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
